Proposals for the further development of the EU chemicals regulation after 2018 and related implementation strategies (FKZ: 3717 67 410 0)
The project aims at analysing and identifying optimization potentials of the EU REACH regulation. The project consists of 10 work packages addressing different aspects of the regulation, such as the processes of restriction, authorisation, substance evaluation and dossier evaluation. Furthermore, potentials to strengthen the precautionary principle or sustainable chemistry are assessed.
In the context of the project a national stakeholder consultation was performed regarding the REACH review 2017 as well as a national stakeholder conference. Two workshops are organised to discuss overarching topics with a larger audience.
