Support in the implementation of the national REACH-congress 2016
Biannually, the Ministry of the Environment, Nature Protection, Construction and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) organises a national congress on the implementation of REACH in cooperation with the federal authorities responsible for chemicals policy. Stakeholders from interested groups are invited to discuss the state of play, challenges in the implementation of REACH and related solutions.
The REACH-congress 2016 was organised in cooperation with the Federal Institut for Risk Assessment (BfR) and was focused on consumer protection aspects. On two consecutive days, speakers opened different perspectives on the topic of consumer protection under REACH but also under other, chemicals-related legislation and contexts.
Oekopol provided support to the BMUB and the BfR in relation to the content preparation and documentation of results.
