Development of return rates for different lubricants for Belgium – update 2021
In this project, the collectable waste oil amounts (return rates) in Belgium were calculated for the different lubricant types per Europalub category using the methodology previously developed and applied by Ökopol (Zimmermann and Jepsen, 2018). The study constitutes an update of the work previously conducted for VALORLUB in the year 2017. Building on the results of the previous study, recalculations are made based on a literature review regarding the fate of different lubricant types, expert interviews, and current statistical data.
