Supporting study for the project network ForCYCLE Technikum
In this project, a supporting study for the project network ForCYCLE Technikum is being prepared on behalf of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment. The project network researches innovative, resource-saving and climate-friendly circular technologies and production processes in an application-oriented manner. Within the scope of the study, comparative life cycle assessments (LCA) of the individual projects will be conducted to be able to make comparative and quantitative statements about environmental impacts and, in particular, resource efficiency potentials. To this end, the progress in the respective sectors of the projects as well as potentials for more resource efficiency will be identified and examined using a uniform life cycle assessment methodology. The results will then be further developed into a simplified Excel tool for initial self-assessments of material efficiency potentials to generate additional value for other companies and projects.
