Development of scientific-methodological baselines for inventory improvement, realising recommendations of the international inventory reviews in 2016 and 2017 (3717 41 105 0)
The aim of the project was to improve the German emission inventories. This concerned the improvement of the uncertainties of parts of the inventory (specifically the uncertainties for the emission factors of the NEC pollutants SO2, NOX, NH3, NMVOC, PM10 and PM2.5 as well as for the heavy metals As, Cd, Cu, Hg, Pb and Zn), the improvement of the reporting of emissions from fires of vehicles and buildings, the examination of possible improvements of the reporting of NMVOC emissions from chemical plants as well as the development of a calculation approach for black carbon emissions.
